Julia Rosenstein
My adventure of becoming a massage therapist started in 2003, after I had my 3rd child. My husband and I knew we wanted to have a lifestyle that focused around our family. We moved from the fast paced Silicon Valley to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi. It was there I did some soul searching about finding a career that I would be passionate about and still allow for family time.
In 2005 I started massage school at Blue Cliff College in Biloxi Mississippi. After Hurricane Katrina, we moved west and eventually settled near Boulder. After much persistence I obtained my 1000 hour certification from Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2008 and immediately started on my advanced studies at the Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood. While there, I studied Oncology Massage, Cranial Sacral and Trauma Touch. In June 2009, Colorado School of Healing Arts nominated me as Student of the Year to the Colorado Association of Career Colleges & Schools.
My massage incorporates many styles of massage. I practice an Integrative style. This means no massage is ever the same. I may use Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial and Trigger Point release, Zen Shiatsu, Cranial Sacral and Reflexology separately or all in one massage depending on your needs. I offer 30 minute, 1 hour and 1 1/2 hour sessions to accommodate all time schedules and budgets.
Over the last 18 years, most of my work experience has included Chiropractic in one form or another. I have worked as a Chiropractic Assistant, Office Manager, and I worked for a software company that created chiropractic billing software. I know the benefits of chiropractic care and I am very excited to be back in this industry as a massage therapist.
